Acting against large Brazilian corporations for the lead plaintiffs in class actions in the US regarding breaches of the Exchange Act; acting in complex service-of-process procedures (letters rogatory), in the preparation of strategies, and carrying out discovery (disclosure), document production, witness interviews and other evidence gathering in Brazil. We acted for the plaintiffs in the class actions against Parmalat, Sadia (now BR Foods), Aracruz (now Fibria), Banco Bradesco, Apple and for the largest opt outs in the class action against Petrobras.
